Experience
August 2022 - Lead English Teacher at North Seattle French School
Now working as a resource specialist and curriculum guide for alignment with CCSS and state standards. We are creating a custom scope and sequence across grades. I teach fourth grade social studies, English, and math, while I also teach first grade English, science, and social studies. Bilingualism is not required, but as a francophone I am able to translanguage.August 2021 - English Teacher at North Seattle French School

Anglais En Fleurs is my attempted English/French business model for a private hands-on, PBL English school. As this business never came to fruition, nor did the website ever receive proper professional translation, I share it here as an example of my capabilities.Summer Staircase ELA teacher grades 3/4

I worked primarlily as a an assistant to the chef and sous chef of preparations, Chefs Saturnin and LeBuc. We created mise en place for all classes. Because I was the "most bilingual" of the basement I often worked as a casual translator for students from both backgrounds with the other assistants in the basement kitchen where we worked in the original Le Cordon Bleu historical buildling. I was placed in this position through EUSA, an internship program, that connected with students via The University of Iowa Study Abroad, and Céline Guerrero was the person who brought me in for an entretien and official stage.

2013
Study Abroad research project for introduction to Qualitative Research. Under Joanne Burnett (now at Penn State) I worked with beginner French students studying abroad negotiating with host families for language, and interviewed host families on their impressions on French L2 learners, and their accommodation to English in the home environment paired with ELF (English as a Lingua Franca) in the nearby zone of commerce that was Nice, France. Through this I determined that the French classroom, because of the use of ZPD and comprehensible input, was the most reliable and coherent access to the language. This required bilingual transcription, translation, and the completion of a thesis in French. During this period of time I tested as a C1 in France for language proficiency.University of Iowa

Yellow Velo was a summer project for NCJC, a nonprofit group with two hubs that offer free mountain bike training to kids with high stress lives. I managed a pop-up cafe and bike rental outside of the local pool during the summer. We did not have a lot of foot traffic that year, unfortunately.Stagiare
